FAQ

  • Where can I buy SIEVE fins?
You can buy SIEVE fins in our webshop as well as in selected shops. If you have any questions, just contact us directly via email, Instagram or via the chat on our website.
  • What material are your products made of?
When selecting our material suppliers, on the one hand we paid great attention to the quality of the material - in order to produce fins with the desired properties, a special material composition is necessary - on the other hand we want to guarantee that we produce fins from recycled plastic and such contribute to a circular economy. The material of the fins now consists of 70% recycled plastic (e.g. old fishing nets or post-consumer material) and 30% fiberglass. The fiberglass content is added as a raw material because fiberglass is difficult to recycle. However, the proportion is necessary to achieve the desired strength of the fin.
  • What if I don't like my fins?
Because each fin is unique, the colors may vary slightly from the product images. If you do not like your order, contact us and we will organize the return and ensure that you receive a product that you like.
  • What if my fins break?
If your fins break despite their high strength, contact us. You can send them in and get a new set. We want to build a circular economy. We also send individual replacement fins.
  • Where do you produce your fins?
We currently produce our fins ourselves near Stuttgart. Sebastian produces the fins on a professional injection molding machine. We then print and pack the fins with lots of love.
  • I would like to organize a beach clean-up.
With our mobile plastic press we offer to support your beach clean up and to press something directly from the collected plastic for all hard-working collectors. Are you planning an event? Let's see how we can support you.
  • What do Finns bring?
Surf fins control your surfboard. Like the oar on the boat. The resistance they create in the water gives your board grip on the wave, turning in the water and keeping on track. So it's logical that their size and shape have a strong influence on the handling of your board. Sometimes you can create a completely different driving experience simply by using different fins. You might even be able to save a board in your quiver and increase your range of different surf fins instead.
  • Which fins for my surfboard?
Choosing the right surf fins for you depends on three factors: your height, your riding style and the fin box of your surfboard. You can find more information in our blog post.
  • Do FCS 1 fins fit in FCS 2 fin boxes?
The FCS 1 fins can also be used in FCS 2 boxes.
  • I also want to make something out of recycled plastic. Where do I begin?
In addition to our own products, we also offer advice on production processes and the manufacture of tools. Talk to us with your ideas! We'll see how we can support you, because together we can achieve more!
  • How long does it take until I receive my order?
Because we are a small team and process all orders personally, it can sometimes take a little longer for your order to reach you. Processing and shipping usually takes 3-7 working days. If it takes too long, please contact us.
